6 things to consider when chasing your dreams

Close your eyes and imagine the ideal world you envision. Want to bring your ideas to life? After writing down your goals, answer these questions to help you realize your dreams faster.

1. What is the one thing you absolutely must accomplish in this life?

If you could do just one thing this time, what would it be? Whatever you decide to achieve in life, you won't be on the right path unless you understand this: If your goal is in alignment with your deepest motivations, you'll attract the resources you need to make it a reality.

Learn how to know what truly brings you happiness. What did you enjoy doing as a child? What are you passionate about these days? When your desires and your soul calling are in harmony, synchronicity will step in to help you succeed.

2. Are you living someone else’s dream or your own?

Do you feel like you are working hard for what you want or what others want you to want? Is it your goal to pursue your true calling until old age? Will you end up regretting not taking risks?

Is it selfish to pursue your own happiness? If you can't find happiness for yourself, how can you bring happiness to others?

3. Are you embracing mediocrity?

Are you willing to settle for less than the happiness, health and love you deserve in this life? Are you giving up on your dreams because you have?

True happiness can only be achieved by pursuing one's deepest interests.

How will you feel when you finally achieve your goal?

Burning passion is what drives your ideas forward. Experience the excitement and thrill of realizing your ambitions.

4. How will you feel when you finally achieve your goal?

Burning passion is what drives your ideas forward. Experience the excitement and thrill of realizing your ambitions.

A Hawaiian Kahuna says, “Where your creative attention flows, your life flows.”

5. What small action can you take today that will move you closer to your goal?

Don't put off your ambitions. Create structures and methods so that you can achieve your goals quickly. As long as an opportunity helps you achieve your goals, you should take advantage of it.

Is your big goal made up of several sub-goals? Try participating in a local fun run in preparation for a marathon. Identify some metrics by which you can evaluate your progress. Keep a journal along the way and brag to your friends about your progress.

6. Do you tell yourself, “My dreams will never come true”?

Most people underestimate their own potential. Perhaps they think they're not worthy of following their passion, or that they can't make a living doing what they love. Too often, people bury their dreams so deep they forget they ever had them, because they don't want to feel the pain of realizing they can't achieve them.

We all have ambitions that we want to achieve one day, and it is our destiny to realize our potential, so why put it off?
