Barefoot Faith – Poem by Kayla Mravec

Barefoot Faith

Take off the sandals of sensibility and rarity,

And so we take our bare feet and slowly move forward towards faith.

Feel the cool breeze of peace

Warm sunshine of joy

Cleansing, patient rain

And the coming of spring

Nurture the roots of your soul.

Every step is an invitation to become your true self and blossom.

Each footprint is the sound of your own seed of love

For those who are already here and those who will be here in the future.

A grain of holy goodness

Nurturing the spirit of wildflowers

As you know

The sacred place where you live.
