The best meditation cushion to enhance your practice

Finding the right meditation cushion will greatly improve your meditation practice.

There are many benefits to meditating in an upright triangular meditation position on the floor. If you haven't tried this yet, you may find it difficult to get comfortable enough to deeply quiet your body during your practice.

Now, in my meditation practice, I practice deepening my silence and spending long periods of time in deep stillness and stillness.

This exploration led me to try out several meditation positions, postures, chairs, pillows, and cushions to find what really works for me.

My top pick for meditation cushions at the moment is the Crescent Meditation Cushion with Zabuton.

I purchased the Half Moon Limited Edition Crescent Sit Set.

You can purchase the Half Moon Meditation Cushion here.

There is also a cheaper crescent moon meditation cushion set here.

There are many options when it comes to meditation cushions.

For now, meditating in the Burmese meditation sitting position using a crescent meditation cushion and a zabuton is what works best for me.

But what's best for meditation for me may not be best for you. If sitting in a chair is the most comfortable thing for you right now, there's nothing wrong with that. Note: If you find it uncomfortable to sit cross-legged on the floor, no matter what your style, know that working on stretching your legs and hips may help you develop this ability. please. When meditating, I recommend that you start practicing sitting upright in some way, even if it's only for 5 minutes.

Other meditation cushions to consider include:

Alexia Meditation Sheet, Hugger Mugger Zaf, Hugger Mugger Zabuton.

Now, if you are new to “meditation cushion apples” such as Zafu or Zubton, please do the following.

A zafu is the name for a traditional circular meditation cushion that, when you sit on its edge, helps you raise your hips, relax your legs, and help you sit upright with your back straight.

A zabuton is a cushion that is placed under a zabuton to cushion the knees and ankles. For me, it's much more comfortable than putting Zaf on the floor or meditating on a soft blanket.

Meditation cushion review results

The Hugger Mugger Zafu/Zabuton Meditation cushion combo I ordered arrived at my house first, so I started meditating right away.

First impressions: The cushion I used in conjunction with the cushion was a really comfortable meditation cushion.

Combine these two cushions to create a stable, supportive and cushioned base for meditation.

The cushion helps you maintain an aligned and upright posture, allowing your energy to flow and allowing you to enter a clear, present, meditative state.

Updated Review: For me, I found the round Zafu not as comfortable as the crescent-shaped meditation cushion. But overall, you can't go wrong with the Hugger Mugger cushion and Zafu/Zabton style meditation cushions in general.

Another option I tried is the premium priced Alexia Meditation sheet.

To be honest, at first I was really excited about this seat and felt like it was the closest thing to meditating on a cloud (lol). Very comfortable and supportive for finding a vertical and aligned meditation position.

Alexia seats are softer and more cushioned than Zafu/Zabuton. Additionally, the way the seat is designed allows for enough room to fold your feet and legs underneath without the pressure of your weight. This can reduce pressure on your knees, hips, and ankles, making your meditation session more comfortable.

Updated Review: For me, I've found that the most comfortable option for my morning meditation practice is to place a crescent-shaped meditation cushion on top of my zabuton…but currently, the Alexia Meditation seat is It's installed by the window, so having it is still a win.
